1. All the Regular Students shall compulsorily submit their latest passport size photograph, e-mail id. If you have already submitted kindly ignore this.
2. Parents note: if there is any change in your mobile phone numbers please submit it to our office for necessary information.
3. It is recommended for all the students in Level 3 and above to have their own DGT Clocks (However we do not make it compulsory. It is desirable for student’s speedy progress). DCS will make arrangement of DGT clock at reasonable price. If you are looking at retail sports shop please look for Fischer Mode.
4. We understand that children are multitalented and are also occupied with various activities. We would like to insist on their Regularity in classes and regular work at home. They shall be able to spent minimum of 1 hour daily to practice or work chess. This will enable good results.
5. Monthly there will be minimum two closed (Invitational) tournaments in DCS. Please regularly visit our website- http://dcsmangalore.blogspot.com or watch notice board.
6. All the promotions in DCS are purely merit based. We observe their performance in classes and tournaments. But it may vary according to their age. Kindly encourage your son/ daughter even if the promotions are delayed.
